On January 22, 2012, witness a trailblazing event unfold across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao; KAHIT ISANG ARAW LANG UNITY RUN. In Metro Manila the fun run will be held at SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City simultaneous in 6 other cities in Visayas and Mindanao.
Last Year, more than 50,000 runners joined in our event "TAKBO PARA SA LIBRENG KOLEHIYO". Thus leaving a mark in history not only through the number of runners, but for the realization of its advocacy of providing free college education. Four months after the event, the dream became reality – The LA VERDAD FREE COLLEGE at Caloocan city was officially inaugurated and opened its doors to 200 scholars with free tuition fees, free books, free uniforms, and even free meals.
This year, we will make it happen again. We will take a giant leap and take the entire nation to run for the noble cause of helping provide computer laboratories for selected schools all over the Philippines.
In Just One Day, 200,000 runners from 7 key cities in the Philippines will unite in one advocacy – all aiming on education at its best, for our children.
